D.C. No Kings October protest

Today, over 2,600 gatherings were held nationwide amid the government shutdown, speaking out against recent decisions made by President Trump.

In D.C. alone, over 200,000 people were in attendance - a larger turnout than the June protest of the same name.

Speakers at the rally included influential figures such as Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Chris Murphy, and Bill Nye.

This protest brought together many activist groups united in opposition to what they believe is becoming an authoritarian administration.
