No Kings Protest.

Yesterday was June 14th, 2025, and here's what happened in D.C.

Donald Trump held a parade in honor of the 250th anniversary of the Army and his 79th birthday, both falling on the same date.

White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung said about 250,000 people attended the parade, while over 5 million people nationwide protested the event, from L.A. to New York; including a sizable crowd in D.C.

The "No Kings" protest was held in opposition not only to the parade but also to the leadership choices of Donald Trump, with many expressing fears of abuse of power and his call to

"expand presidential powers."

These protests drew some of the biggest turn outs in American history.
